Interestingly, those with the belief that their back pain will last a long time recover very slowly! 😞 so catastrophizing negatively impacts recovery. Physio is only recommended after 3-4 weeks of continuous pain. Proper patient education and exercise may help! 👍

Proper patient education and exercise may help! 👍 MRIs may show a disc herniation, but many MRIs will show herniations on asymptomatic subjects so...😒 Bottom line: don't let the picture on tests define you.
