+ When should the accident be claimed?
It is generally recommended that the worker report the accident to his or her employer on the day of the injury. It is mandatory for the employee to complete a CNESST (CSST) worker's claim as soon as possible. For an automobile accident, contact the SAAQ to obtain a claim number.
