Occupational therapy enables people to organize and perform the activities they consider important: Caring for themselves and others;Achieving personal, academic and professional fulfillment;Having fun, such as leisure activities; and Developing, such as play.
Goals of occupational therapy:
Fostering the autonomy of individuals
Enabling people to have a satisfying quality of life
Facilitate their maintenance in a living environment that meets their needs and preferences.
Facilitate their integration into the community.
